General information collection
When you access our website, information of a general nature is automatically collected. This information (server log files) includes, for example, the type of web browser, the operating system used, the domain name of your Internet service provider and the like. This is exclusively information that does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about your person. This information is technically necessary in order to correctly deliver the content of web pages requested by you and is mandatory when using the Internet. Anonymous information of this kind is statistically evaluated by us in order to optimize our Internet presence and the technology behind it.
Cookies
Like many other websites, we also use so-called “cookies”. Cookies are small text files that are transferred from a website server to your hard drive. Through this, we automatically receive certain data such as IP address, browser used, operating system about your computer and your connection to the Internet.
Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to a computer. Based on the information contained in cookies, we can facilitate your navigation and enable the correct display of our web pages.
Under no circumstances will the data we collect be passed on to third parties or linked to personal data without your consent.
Of course, you can also view our website without cookies. Internet browsers are regularly set to accept cookies. You can deactivate the use of cookies at any time via your browser settings. Please use the help functions of your Internet browser to find out how to change these settings. Please note that individual functions of our website may not work if you have disabled the use of cookies.
Contact form
If you contact us through the contact options offered, some personal data such as name, contact and communication data such as telephone number and e-mail address are collected so that these can be used to process and respond to your request and for possible follow-up questions. This data will not be passed on to third parties without your consent. Personal data that is processed by us in the context of a general contact request via
e-mail or contact form, we store only as long as this is necessary for the respective correspondence.
Handling of comments and contributions
If you leave a post or comment on this website, your IP address will be stored. This is for the security of the website operator: if your text violates the law, he wants to be able to track your identity.
SSL-Encryption
To protect the security of your data during transmission, we use state-of-the-art encryption methods (e.g. SSL) via HTTPS.
Deletion or blocking of data
We adhere to the principles of data avoidance and data minimization. We therefore only store your personal data for as long as is necessary to achieve the purposes stated here or as stipulated by the various storage periods provided for by law. After the respective purpose has ceased to exist or these periods have expired, the corresponding data is routinely blocked or deleted in accordance with the statutory provisions.
Youtube embedded videos
We embed YouTube videos on some of our websites. The operator of the corresponding plugins is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. When you visit a page with the YouTube plugin, a connection to YouTube servers is established. This tells Youtube which pages you are visiting. If you are logged into your Youtube account, Youtube can assign your surfing behavior to you personally. You can prevent this by logging out of your Youtube account beforehand.
If a Youtube video is started, the provider uses cookies that collect information about user behavior.
If you have deactivated the saving of cookies for the Google Ad program, you will not have to deal with such cookies when watching Youtube videos. However, Youtube also stores non-personal usage information in other cookies. If you would like to prevent this, you must block the storage of cookies in the browser.
Further information on data protection at “Youtube” can be found in the provider’s privacy policy here.
Newsletter
When registering to receive our newsletter, the data you provide will be used exclusively for this purpose. Subscribers may also be informed by e-mail about circumstances relevant to the service or registration (for example, changes to the newsletter offer or technical circumstances).
For an effective registration we need a valid e-mail address. In order to verify that a registration is actually made by the owner of an e-mail address, we use the “double-opt-in” procedure. For this purpose, we log the order of the newsletter (data entered in the input mask during registration, such as title, first name, last name, e-mail), the sending of a confirmation e-mail and the receipt of the response requested herewith. Further data is not collected. The data will be used exclusively for sending the newsletter and will not be passed on to third parties.
You can revoke your consent to the storage of your personal data and its use for the newsletter dispatch at any time. There is a corresponding link in each newsletter. In addition, the revocation can be made via the other contact options provided on the website. Your data will then be deleted from our system immediately.
External links
On our website you will find links to external websites of third parties, on whose contents we have no influence. The respective operator of the pages is responsible for the content of the linked pages. At the time of linking, no illegal content was identifiable, but a permanent control of the content of the linked pages is not possible.
Your rights to information, correction, blocking, deletion and objection
You have the right to obtain information about your personal data stored by us at any time. You also have the right to have your personal data corrected, blocked or, apart from the mandatory data storage for business processing, deleted. Please contact our data protection officer for this purpose. You will find the contact details at the very bottom.
To ensure that a blocking of data can be taken into account at any time, this data must be kept in a blocking file for control purposes. You can also request that the data be deleted, unless there is a legal archiving obligation. If such an obligation exists, we will block your data upon request.
You can make changes or revoke consent by notifying us accordingly with effect for the future.
Modification of our privacy policy
We reserve the right to occasionally adapt this data protection declaration so that it always complies with the current legal requirements or in order to implement changes to our services in the data protection declaration, e.g. when introducing new services. The new privacy policy will then apply to your next visit.
