Graz, June 2023 – cyclebee The company was the only Styrian firm accepted into the EU Better Mobility Accelerator. This six-month funding program offers young companies in the field of urban mobility a unique platform to further develop their ideas. The program is organized by EIT Urban Mobility, an initiative of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT). Since January 2019, EIT Urban Mobility has been working to promote positive changes in the way people move around in order to improve quality of life.

The Better Mobility Accelerator focuses specifically on the challenge of "mobility for all." This aims to improve physical and geographical accessibility for a broad range of target groups, including often underserved and marginalized passengers, as well as vulnerable travelers. In this context, the Graz-based startup cyclebee is addressing the topic of "Cycling for All" in a Research project, which is funded by the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG). The program consortium consists of Impact Hub Vienna, Punkt vor Strich, and Productized. Impact Hub Vienna leads the program and is responsible for communication and coordination with EIT Urban Mobility. Punkt vor Strich is a knowledge and data platform and consulting firm that develops data-driven mobility solutions for and with organizations, municipalities, and communities. Productized is based in Portugal and offers programs and services to foster a product-focused corporate culture.
