Freilauf Podcast #17: Postmodernism stolen, classics conquered
Architect and artist Nicole Pruckermayr rediscovers the joy of cycling.

What is the biggest disadvantage of owning a beautiful bicycle? Other people want to own it too.
Nicole Pruckermay used to own such beautiful bicycles that they were regularly stolen. Among them was her "Postmodern." Yet this brand name* would have been so fitting for the architect and artist. But two and a half years ago, Nicole found a new, albeit not exactly new, two-wheeled companion.

„"This is an older model. The brand was launched around 1895."“

*Postmodernism refers to a movement in modern architecture. It is characterized by a freer, more playful approach to different building forms from earlier eras. Postmodernism often stands for diversity, chance, chaos, and thus for a critique of the smooth rationality of modernism. (Source: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Postmoderne)
Nicole's travel style: Minimalist, nature-loving and "a little lazy"„
„"I'm a bit lazy, I have to admit. And as for inclines, well, I'm often in the mountains, but I don't ride my bike uphill. Because it's just too strenuous for me."“
